Emmanuella Matare, is Policy Analyst for DRM (Tax Justice, Extractives and Illicit Financial Flows). She is responsible for the implementation of activities within the portfolio through policy research and advocacy in line with the AFRODAD Strategic Plan.
Prior to joining AFRODAD, Emmanuella worked as Research Economist with the USAID Strategic Economic Research and Analysis (SERA) Program (Zimbabwe) for 5years where she acquired vast knowledge and experience in evidence based socio-economic policy development, economic governance, training and monitoring and evaluation. Earlier, she worked for the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre (SARDC) as a Researcher Writer, CARE International in Zimbabwe as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and the University of Zimbabwe as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
Emmanuella holds a Master of Science Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.
