Taurai Chiraerae is the Policy Analyst in the International Public Finance (IPF) Thematic Area. His roles are to provide policy intelligence and to coordinate the IPF portfolio policy inputs, research, campaigning and advocacy; ensuring that AFRODAD policy products are usable at national, regional and international levels.
Taurai has served the organisation at various levels for more than four years as Programmes intern, Programmes Consultant on Debt Profiles, Programmes Research Assistant for Debt and Development Aid issues and Programmes Officer for Domestic Debt Taurai has experience in lobby and advocacy having represented AFRODAD and advanced its mandate at various forums and platforms.
He holds a BA in History and Development studies and a Masters in International Affairs from Midlands State University (MSU).
