International Public & Private Finance (IPPF)

Elshaday holds an LL.M. in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa from the University of Pretoria. She has experience from the World Trade Organisation, where she supported legal and policy analysis for accession processes and helped prepare negotiation documents and briefs. In private practice she worked on investment advisory and research, contributing to analysis on investment flows and public–private partnerships.

At AFRODAD she works in the International Public and Private Finance Department, supporting policy research and advocacy on international public and private finance, particularly foreign direct investment, public–private partnerships, and the implications of the global financial architecture on African economies. She is skilled in legal and policy analysis, negotiation support, investment research, and drafting policy briefs, and is committed to promoting transparent, accountable, and sustainable development finance and strengthening Africa’s voice in global finance and policy processes.
